Two SHDC employees who visited properties helping residents to clear gardens, garages ad homes.
The skips were filled within two hours and we received a lot of thanks from people that were able to get rid of unwanted items, including bulky furniture and mattresses.
The skips were paid for by LiveWest and this was an example of working in partnership with the Local Authority who provided the van and much needed helping hands, plus Dawn Shepherd, Town Councillor and Dartmouth Community Chest Volunteer, who not only helped out at the skips but also managed refreshments.
It was a good day.
